Last time: “Shut up Paul!” she screamed.
Paul immediately stopped talking. Dawn ran over to the corner where Adrian had just pointed. The reason of the tears and screams was because it was her mother lying there still with many wounds – and a red puddle surrounded her…
Present time:
Dawn ran to her mother and kneeled by her – her head on her mother’s heart. She felt her neck – it had no pulse – she was dead…dead. “SHE’S DEAD” Dawn screamed while crying. Paul’s dad Adrian was enjoying the show smirking. Paul tried not to look concerned one move while his father was there – and she could be killed. “Stupid girl – don’t you remember you dads death” Adrian said smirking. Paul’s eyes widened – know wonder he knew her so well and targeted her mother.
----Flash Back----
“Daddy no!!!” screamed a young 4 year old girl. “Shut up you little brat” said a man holding her from behind and another man hit her. That man was Adrian. “Watch this little girl” he said coldly and smirked. “You too lady” he added. He grabbed Dawns dad and pushed him to the ground – then pulled out a knife – he kept on stabbing him continually. “Honey – please no don’t die I love you!!!” shouted Dawns mother being held by another dark man. That man punched her in the back. “Shut it!” he said coldly. Then Adrian stopped stabbing. “I think I’m done here – let’s go” he said with a smirk. They all ran leaving Dawn and her mother in tears. They both ran up to him. “Daddy don’t go – please” Dawn pleaded with her father. “Sweetie – you got to promise me to be strong in life – ok – look after your mother and become a great coordinator like you dreamed – I believe in you – I love you” said her father weakly. “And you to Johanna – I’m always in your heart remember that you too – I love you both so much” he said in a whisper. “Daddy I love you too!” “We both do!” said her mother in tears. “Stay strong – don’t forget me” said her father weakly in his last breath. “Of course daddy! I will never forget you! – Daddy – daddy? DADDY! WAKE UP DADDY WAKE UP!” shouted Dawn as she was on the floor – her father’s blood on her hands. Then they were both silent – crying beside each other- in pain…
----End of Flash Back----
“How can I forget!” she cried. “I promised I would never forget him!” shouted Dawn. “Do you know who killed him?” asked Adrian. “No it was dark on that night and the police never found the killers” she whispered. “Idiot it was me and two men I hired to hold you and your mother down” he said evilly. Dawn stood there dumbfounded. Then rage showed in her eyes. “I HATE YOU!  HE WAS MY DAD – HOW CAN YOU DO THAT?!” she shouted. Paul stood there – he had never seen her like this. She kept this secret from everyone for a long time. Whenever someone asked her in school where her father was – she just said him and her mum was divorced. “Easy I can do whatever I want – I hate to see people like you and I just can’t stand “happy families” and besides I like to see you in pain – as well as my son” he said with a low tone. “What’s that meant to mean?” Dawn asked in confusion at the last part. “I would love to stay and chat but I have more blood to spill” he said and throwed a smoke ball on the ground, immediately black thick smoke filled the air.
When it all cleared he was gone, but Paul was still there staring at Dawn. Dawn was angry, upset and confused. “Why me? Why do I have to suffer – no one ever stays with me – no one ever loves me” said Dawn while tears were pouring down her face. Paul thought like telling her there and then and thought how stupid she was to think that no one loves her. He quickly looked around to see if his father was there or anywhere near. He walked up to her and pulled her up and then embraced her. Dawn needed anyone right now and hugged back, tears were still running down her face. “Dawn please don’t cry” Paul whispered. Dawn couldn’t stop – she was alone and now that her mother is dead she has no place to live. “How can I not – my parents are dead – I’m alone and I have no place to live!” she cried even harder on his shoulder. “Your not alone – I’m here and you can stay with me” Paul said without thinking, his feelings were taking over. He was rubbing her back up and down hoping it will comfort her a bit. Dawn had never seen this side of him before but she liked it a lot and appreciated hat he was doing for her. “Thank you Paul” Dawn whispered allowing Paul to comfort her some more. Then he snapped into reality – he couldn’t take back his offer but he had got to stop his body actions. Dawn had stopped crying because something had alerted her. “Paul can you smell smoke?” asked Dawn. They both ran to the attic door and then opened it. They looked down and a fire was blazing. “DAMN” Paul shouted. “We got to jump!” said Dawn looking down. They both jumped and ran out of the room and down stairs trying to get out of the fires blaze and the chance of death…
