Last time:

Her hands were trembling and she was low on the ground listening – and also thinking what to do. THUMP. “What was that!” said Dawn quickly.

Present time:

“Oh my gosh what should I do?” she whispered.

Her feet answered for her and she started walking towards the stairs – the reason of the sound. She slowly went up the stairs holding her breath just incase the “thing” inside her house can hear it. She walked into her room. THUMP. It was louder this time – right above her head she looked up. She wanted to know what or who was in her house. She took a ladder and took the attic cover off and climbed through. When she got up she felt something moist under her fingers. She quickly took out her phone and made it light up – the substance on her hands was once again blood – but it was thicker this time and so much of it.

She heard a shuffle ahead of her. She walked forward looking in anger who was cause of this madness was happening. Two cold black eyes could be seen from a far end. It walked right towards her. Her eyes widened and gasped but then she heard a word that immediately made her know who it was.

“Troublesome” said the voice in a whisper. She once again turned on her camera phone light and saw Paul holding his bloody arm in pain. She immediately reacted.

“Paul! – Are you ok – what happened?! Oh I’m so scared!” said Dawn in a rush. This made Paul smile but only to himself. He already knew that he loved her but seeing her make a fuss over him made him feel like she felt the same way. Who knows? He thought. She quickly grabbed his arm which made him blush deeply – good thing it was dark. She then ripped off her part of her school shirt and wrapped it round his wounded arm tightly.

“There you should be ok now until we get out of here” sighed Dawn still frightened from the atmosphere.

“Who did that?!” Dawn asked in wonder why someone would do such a thing. Paul hesitated – he knew exactly who did it to him – his god damn father that’s who – the one always trying to get rid of him and anything that he loves. But he had already done so much to put her in trouble – would this make it even worse? She did deserve the truth though.

“Hn why should you even care stupid girl” said Paul harshly.

“Because I do care” whispered Dawn softly. Those words paralyzed him. Maybe – she does love me like I love her – NO impossible – I got to stop having these stupid feelings! I’m just going to end up loosing her I don’t want to loose her! She is the only one for me…Why me? He thought. He couldn’t answer her – too much emotion was going through his head. “Paul were’s my mum?” Dawn teared up. Paul was in so much pain seeing her like this but any sign of love could set his father off…his father.

“Let me answer that Dawn” said a dark and looming voice from the other end of the room. Then suddenly the room lit up and Dawn could see everything. The blood patches – Paul wound which wasn’t so bad – and she wondered where all the blood had came from. Then she saw a knife with blood all over the handle and blade.

“Who a-are y-you?” said shakily.

“Why I’m Pauls father-Adrian” he said with an evil tone.

“Bastard” said Paul harshly. Dawn knew from then that he was a bad person – with just the look he gave him.

“Where’s my mum!” she screamed.

“Take a look over there” said Adrian pointing to a corner. She followed his pointing finger – and she screamed – she started crying loudly. Paul was mad as ever he didn’t like to see Dawn like this - ever.

“You Bastard – why can’t you just stop killing! Why can’t you kill me and get it over with!” Paul shouted. Dawns eyes widened she didn’t want him to die.

“Shut up Paul!” she screamed.

Paul immediately stopped talking. Dawn ran over to the corner where Adrian had just pointed. The reason of the tears and screams was because it was her mother lying there still with many wounds – and a red puddle surrounded her…
