Last time: “Paul I’m scared the storm is so loud!” said Dawn with a tear running down her cheek. Paul suddenly grabbed her arm and pulled her into the bed and let her put her head on his chest. Dawn sniffed.

“Thank you” whispered Dawn. Paul without thinking kissed her on the head.

“Don’t worry Dawn your safe with me” whispered Paul. And they both stayed in the same position for a little while then both of them drifted to sleep.

Present time:

Paul opened his eyes and looked beside him to see if Dawn was still in his arms – she wasn’t. He was alone in his bed which was kind of disappointing to him. He noticed the curtains open so he thought Dawn must of went downstairs to get some breakfast or something. So he got up and got himself ready for another crazy day.

After getting ready he walked downstairs and saw Dawn eating on the table by herself. He walked up to the table poured himself some cereal and sat down opposite of her. It was silent and awkward and Dawn didn’t even bother try making conversation. Paul looked at her – her eyebrows were narrowed and her eyes never left her bowl. He could tell she was thinking about things – from the last few days he wouldn’t blame her for doing such a thing. So he just let her mind wonder freely while she sat and thought. It was a good half hour until anyone said anything.

“Oh Paul – hi! – when did you get here!” said Dawn finally waking up from her trance. Paul just sweat dropped – he couldn’t believe that she didn’t notice him all that time.

“I got here half an hour ago – you must have been doing some deep thinking not to notice me” said Paul getting up and putting his and Dawns bowl in the sink not even bothering to wash up.

“Um…yeah – I was thinking about us…” Dawn murmured. Paul suddenly froze.

“What. About. Us?” whispered Paul sternly. Dawn sighed.

“You just wouldn’t understand” whispered Dawn and she walked out of the kitchen to the sitting room and sat down on the couch. Paul wasn’t satisfied with that answer and stormed into the sitting room and stood in front of her.

“What do you mean?! Don’t just walk away while I’m talking to you!” shouted Paul – he was very frustrated – he wanted to know how Dawn felt for him – he knew he couldn’t tell her but maybe someday when it was all over - he could. His fists were clenched and his frown was deeper than usual. Dawn was very frightened but she stood her ground.

“I don’t need to tell you anything” murmured Dawn. Paul was getting very angry by now – and he shouted as loud as he could.

“FINE GET OUT OF MY HOUSE – YOU PATHETIC GIRL” shouted Paul immediately regretting it. Dawn burst into tears and ran to the door.

“Fine I will I never want to see you face again” shouted Dawn and she ran out of the house as fast as she could. When Paul ran after her she was out of sight.

“What have I done” whispered Paul. He quickly grabbed his coat and went to find her.

big apartment store – nothing,

the park – nothing,

cake and sweet shops – nothing,

the poke centre – nothing.

Then he remembered something. He and her were having a conversation once – when she was with Ash studying.

Flashback

“Argh you” I said rudely.

“Yes it is me – now I challenge you to a battle for a practice for my test!” shouted Ash.

“Whatever” I said pulling put a poke ball. After battling a good 10minutes – Ash actually won. I was very frustrated and annoyed – i hated loosing – ESPECIALLY in front of Dawn.

“Aw what’s the matter Paul – angry from loosing – especially in front of a certain someone!” teased Ash. I lost my cool. I was about to take a punch when a feminine hand stopped him.

“No, don’t hurt him – come with me quickly and calm down” said Dawn pulling me away from Ash and everyone else.

After walking out of the practice arena and out of the school gates – then walking into the forest she stopped dragging me and stopped where an amazing lake was. She walked to a large rock and sat on it and picked up a pebble – dropped it in the lake and watched the ripples expand.

“You know Paul when you’re angry and frustrated you shouldn’t lash out you know – you should find a way to calm down. I always come here when I’m upset or when things are on my mind – the atmosphere always puts me in a better mood.” Said Dawn staring at the water. I walked up to her – not knowing what to say – she looked at me and I nodded. She smiled and turned back to the water. I just sat next to her thinking what she had told me and how to get to this place again.

End of flashback

“She’s there!” said Paul and started running towards forest. He ran and ran then he finally got there – and he saw her there – on the rock, watching the ripples – and crying. He felt so responsible. He ran up to her and quickly grabbed her shoulders.

“Troublesome you know I didn’t what I said – I’m sorry – come back to the house please” said Paul gritting his teeth – he hated saying such things – but he knew he had to.

“Why the hell was you shouting at me for know reason!” shouted Dawn while tears were pouring out of her eyes.

“I just wanted to know what you meant when you said us! I don’t know what you feel about all this going on – especially after yesterday night! I can’t even believe you did that!” shouted Paul.

“Well excuse me for loving you!” Dawn shouted back. After those few words everything was silent. “I love you Paul…” Dawn murmured.
