Chapter 12

The sun rised and many of the bird pokemon sang their usual song. Now normally Dawn would sleep to midday day perhaps even later - but

something made her restless. So got up - left the tent to go look for a lake or maybe a river for her her to have a wash...
Walking around for ages she finally found a hot spring.
"Great!" she mumbled - " I havent been to a hot spring in ages - this is my chance to wind down a little." Bringing out a pokeball she

released Pinplup. "Plup Plup!" it exclaimed as it jumped into the water. Dawn smiled - She hasn't seen her first pokemon so happy for a long

time. Dawn changed into a bikini and joined her Best Friend.
"Ahh - finally - relaxation"

Meanwhile...
Paul got up - he was an early bird - so it wasn't a surprize he was up at this hour. He thought that it would be better if they got an early

start - so Adrian couldn't find them so easily. He got ready pack his things and went over to Dawns tent.
"Troublesome get up." he said. He waited. And waited. Nothing.
"Get up - we need to leave as soon as possible now up." Nothing. Fine he thought. He pulled the zip... no one there.
"What..." Her brush hasn't even been touched - and he knows how she always obsessed over her hair. He got up and decided to go look for

her. He looked and looked... and looked - nothing.
"Where is she..." he mumbled - his concern didn't show but because of the circumstances he has to fear for the worse.

SPLASH! - followed by a giggle.
"Troublesome..."
He followed were the sound came from... a hot spring - typical.
"Hurry up." stated Paul leaning on a tree. Dawn jumped.
"AH! Paul what are you doing - can't you see i'm bathing?" Stuttered Dawn a blush creeping on her face.
"Yes i can see that - and i can also see that you are wasting time. Now finish off - we have to get going"
"fine." Dawn mumbled. And with that Paul walked off - leaving Dawn to finish cleaning her hair, drying and making her hair perfect.
Finally finished she returned her Pinplup and started walking back to the tents. When she finally got there her things were packed back

into her bag and a plate full of berries left near it - Dawn smiled.
"Thank you" she said sitting down to eat.
"Whatever - i just want to leave. He said waiting for her to finished. After finishing her last berry she stood up got her bag and started

walking - while Paul did the same.

"Paul."
"What"
"How long is this going to last"
"What"
"Like us running away..."
"We are NOT running away - i am NOT scared of that man - we are biding time"
"To do what"
"Leave me alone"
"Please?"
"No"
"You just don't know what to say"
"Shut up"
"No!"
"..."
"I'm not shutting up!"
"..."
"Ha! See still speaking!"
"..."
"I hate you." said Dawn ending the pointless fight.  Paul smirked knowing he had won. At least he annoying attitude is coming back to her. He thought.
"Where we going?" asked Dawn.
"Up the mountains"
"Oh". "How long"
"Couple of hours."
"Oh". "Is there a poke centre near by?"
"Yes."
"Ok." The walk pretty much consisted of stupid questions - annoying statements and useless facts. After hours of ignoring Dawn they finally reached the centre which happened to be right in the middle of the mountains. Dawn and Paul walked in to be greeted by Nurse Joy
"Hello Both of you would you like me to nurse any of you pokemon?"
"Yes Please"  Replied the two of them. They handed over their pokemon to nurse Joy and thanked her.
"So would you like me to get you a room? Double bed?"
"W-what? No! We would like to seperate rooms please!" stuttered Dawn.
"Oh ok! Sorry I thought you were together - you both make an adorable couple!" said Nurse Joy happily. Both of the teens looked away.
"Ok heres your room keys oh and a warning to both of you - if you decide to go for a walk or some other reason to go outside while your staying - be careful! It's extremly dark out there and you cannot see cliff edges - I would strongly recommend going with someone if you are to go out side ok?" stated Nurse Joy.
"No need to worry! But thank you!" said Dawn taking her key and walking to her room.
"Thank you" said Paul and walked to his room.

They both got to their rooms doors which just happened to be across from each other.
"See you in the lunch hall ok Paul?"
"Whatever" then both got into their rooms and settled down,put their stuff away and made their way to the lunch hall. They both got the same - Noodles - and started eating.
"So Paul where we going after this?" said Dawn talking while chewing her noodles.
"Don't know and stop eating with your mouth full - it's disgusting."
"Well sorry!"
"Can you please stop shouting your making a scene"
"I don't care!"
"Hmpf." Dawn just gave him a glare and carried on eating.
"I think i might go for a walk after this." said Dawn lookng out the window.
"Don't you remember what Nurse Joy said? You'll probably get lost and kill yourself."
"No i won't i'm perfectly fine by myself!"
"No your not - you  never are"
"Whats that surpossed to mean?"
"Your useless."
"I AM NOT!"
"You are. you always were."
"No i helped you when Adrian was about to hurt you!"
"I didn't need your help."
"Your never grateful for anything! No matter what i do you just brush me off...Fine - I don't care. Say whatever you want." and with that she got up and started walking - but she stopped suddenly.
"The others were right you are a heartless jerk - i was wrong to think there was something different about you...". She walked off in the direction of her room.

Paul sat there with wide eyes. Then he facial features returned to his normal cold glare.
"Whatever." He mumbled but he knew he was in the wrong."
