Last Time: “She’s your cousin? Well that would explain the hugging and that” said Dawn wiping her tears.

“You were jealous weren’t you?” said Paul – his smirk was just growing wider.

“No I wasn’t! Never!”

“Oh really? Why are you so defensive then?”

“Ok just a tad – but who cares?!”

“Hmpf”

“Well did you read the newspaper?”

“Yes about that…”

Present time:

"That news paper is from yesterday... we are going to have to go as soon as possible or he will get here." said Paul

"But we just got here im tired and i need a shower"

"Go have one then. And hurry up afterwards we're going" and with that he turned and left.

"Stupid...Stupid...Embarrasing..." mumbled Dawn as she walked towards the bathroom. She stond infront of the sink and had a wash,looked in the mirror checked if everything was in place, she didnt bother with a bath...she was just going to get dirty again from running away and the sprinkling water reminded her of her tears...and at that moment she really didnt want to cry. She needed to be strong for her friends,her pokemon,Paul,her Dad,Her mum... memories fill her mind of her mum and dad and her together, and home,in the park times when things were normal...now shes running for her life... Suddenly she punched the mirror - not feeling the blood trickle down her hands...everything was numb...she wanted to die. Quicly grabbing a broken shard of the mirror she took it near her broken heart - right about to stab but... a force stopped her - what about her pokemon? Her friends? Her Mum her dad what would they think? What would happen to Paul? His dads after him too...

Slowly putting the shard down. She bandaged her bleeding fist and got changed to some clean clothes. She wasnt going to let Adrian win. She got ready and left the room taking everything with her. Paul was waiting.

"What took you so long" grumbled Paul

"Oh sorry. I was sorting things out"

"...What happened to your hand"

"I...cut it on the shower...handle thing"

"How did you manage that its round - no sharp edges"

"LimeScale build up - it made the shower handle rough."

"Whatever - hurry up we're going" he knew she was lying - but she obviously doesnt want to talk about it.

"Did you tell the others?"

"Yes"

"What did they say?"

"I don't know"

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"I walked away before i could hear their reply. Besides i really don't care what they say - it's not going to make a difference of our decision"

"Ok". Paul diverted his eyes to Dawn. Her eyes didnt have the sparkle they used to. Understandble yes. Her family has been taken away from her. And he didnt excatly help with his cold attitude. Still. Things are going to stay like this for a while. Her sadness isnt going to go with the wind - so until then it would be best to keep quiet just for her thoughts to settle into an understanding of the present she deserves atleast that.

What seemed quite a short while was actually hours. The sun had already set and the moon has rised,star had been put alit and wildlife sung it's song.

"I think we should set up camp" Dawn said quietly.

"Hm" agreed Paul. So they set up. Did the fire,set up tents, sleeping bags  and prepared food. Nothing was really said - nothing was to be said. Song enough they both got up said goodnight and went to bed. As they both went to sleep with endless nighmares and unsure thoughts
one thing was for sure -  It was going to be a long day tomorrow...
