Last time:

“Dawn finished the sentence with a gasp.” That was the bracelet my mother always wore. The one that matches mine. I have to tell Paul!” shouted Dawn and ran towards the gym.”

Present time:

“PAUL! PAUL! PAUL! PAU-…” Dawn stopped her ranting of Paul’s name and looked at the scene before her. A girl – a very pretty one in-fact – violet hair pink eyes with a plain white top, a dark blue waist coat and jeans with trainers. She was clinging to Paul’s arm while he was placing his new gym badge in his bag. Dawn didn’t know if she wanted to intrude. At this moment – her heart was sinking – drowning in her own sorrows. Her anger raised and she scrunched the newspaper as she clenched her fists. Maybe she was just a bit…jealous? “There is no way I’m jealous! So Paul has a girl who clinging to his arm – who cares?!” said Dawn to herself. Her face reddened as the girl started to hug Paul. She gritted her teeth. “This is too much of a matter to be jealous- I’ve got to show Paul this…scrunched up newspaper…it’s still readable anyway…I got to tell him! And brake up this…wonderful moment between them!” And she stomped her way to Paul and the “enemy”. When she finally got there she tried to look as calm as possible.

“Hi Paul! Who’s your friend?”

“Hmpf troublesome. I told you not to follow.”

“I’m Jennifer!” said the girl finally letting go of Paul – to his relief.

“Hi! Nice to meet you!” said Dawn trying to sound nice,

“What do you want stupid girl – I could hear you continually say my name from all the way down there.”

“So why didn’t you answer then.” Said Dawn getting very annoyed.

“I was busy”

“ARGH! Whatever!”

“So what is the purpose of you being here – I hate it when you around.” Said Paul rudely. Dawn got very hurt when those words were shot at her – he didn’t like her company?

“Oh Paulie – that’s not nice!” said Jennifer hugged Paul again. And Dawn started to get even more jealous than last time.

“Who Cares?”

“Well fine! I only came to give you this!” she shouted in tears as she threw the newspaper at Paul. “But since you don’t want me around – you go hang around with her then! I’m leaving!” and with that she ran off. Paul and Jennifer stood in aghast.

“Why she angry?” But Paul didn’t answer – he was reading the newspaper. Once he finished he was staring at the place Dawn had just ran.

“Hmpf”

“What?”

“He’s back”

“Oh”

“I’m going to go after her…”

“Bye!” said Jennifer as she waved goodbye –of course she didn’t get the same reply.

Paul ran back to the pokemon center – she would probably be there asking for a room so she can sulk. He walked up to the counter.

“Hello did a girl called Dawn ask for a room?” asked Paul

“Yes room 122 would you like one too?”

“No thank you” said Paul and he ran towards the room. When he reached it he froze. How would she react? What will she do? Despite his never-ending questions he knocked. The door slowly opened but only enough to see a blue eye staring to find out who knocked. “Go away” Dawn whimpered.

“No let me in”

“I said go away I don’t want you in my sight”. Paul could tell she had been crying - a lot.

“Don’t tell me what to do”

“I don’t have to listen to you.” Said Dawn and the gap of the door started to close. But Paul wasn’t going to let that happen. He pushed the door as hard as he could – Dawn tried to stop him from opening it full way but he was too strong – she fell backwards in her room and landing on the floor. Paul walked in and closed the door behind him. Dawn sat there – still and crying. Paul’s expression didn’t change but he put out a hand to help her up. “I don’t need your help!” shouted Dawn and slapped his hand away. “Since you don’t like me around you – go hang around with your new girlfriend Jennifer!” shouted Dawn as she stood up. Paul smirked.

“What are you smirking at?”

“You think she’s my girlfriend? Idiot – she’s my cousin”. Dawn felt suddenly incredibly stupid.

“She’s your cousin? Well that would explain the hugging and that” said Dawn wiping her tears.

“You were jealous weren’t you?” said Paul – his smirk was just growing wider.

“No I wasn’t! Never!”

“Oh really? Why are you so defensive then?”

“Ok just a tad – but who cares?!”

“Hmpf”

“Well did you read the newspaper?”

“Yes about that…”
